Fighting a Friend

Returning triumphantly with the songs from the Old Miller, the boys are shocked at Four-Eyes's reaction from reading them. The usually submissive and quiet Four-Eyes has become transformed by a chance to escape the hell of the mountain and will not let his chance go. Declaring the songs to be nothing but silly ditties and eroticism, he goes on to change the words to fit his own purposes.
Mad with indignation at hearing the old miller's tales being skewed for personal use, the narrator accidentally punches his 'friend' Four-Eyes while trying to get the papers away from him. Turning into a all out fistfight, the narrator comes back to his senses outside the house in the shadow of a boulder with Luo next to him, who is slightly amused by what had just happened.
