Yong Jing
This is one of the closest towns to Phoenix Mountain. The two main characters have been sent here many times by the village headman to watch movies and later describe it to the village. The narrator once had to venture to the town to try and find a gynacologist for the seamstress. On his search, he sees an old priest ,condemned by the government to sweep the streets, about to die who with his last breath, defies Mao. This fills the narrator with respect and he vows to erect a monument in the priest's honor.
