Four-Eyes is a very close friend of Luo's and the narrators. But Four-Eyes is keeping a secret. He keeps a
leather suitcase which he keeps hidden from the two characters. When the narrator finds out, he starts to lock his doors in fear of being discovered. He cannot even trust his two friends from the city because he does not want them to know. This is crucial, because how can a friendship hold when trust ceases to exist.
