On April 4, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. died from a single rifle shot as he stood on the balcony of the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. The assassination sparked race riots in more than 100 cities and set off one of the biggest manhunts in US history. Meanwhile, in the midst of this great tragedy, in a small hospital room, an angel was sent to replace this great man. God told Dr. King that his work was done on this earth and it was time to rest. God passed the baton on to a person who is destined for greatness… A person who was placed on this earth to change the lives of thousands. That person was me! Born to Sarah and William Gee, were two children, Jennifer and Christopher. That’s right, I am a twin! Look it wasn’t my choice but it happened. Of course, I was the chosen one.
Now, this is my story and I will tell it the way I want. My brother is a graphic artist. Who does he touch? I affect the lives of children every day. My words can build them up or tear them down. What I teach them will last them a lifetime. It prepares them for the world they will live in.
Sure, I didn't organize Boycotts and marches, but I stand for my students and I fight for them every day.
