"Just do it - it's so easy!" said the other girls in Maddy's gymnastics group.
"Even if you can't do a cartwheel on the beam, Daddy and I will still love you!" said Maddy's mommy.
"Cartwheels are stupid!" said Maddy's brother. "You should learn to play hockey instead."
But none of this helped Maddy do her cartwheel.
