Hitler fought in WWI for the German army. After the war he became Chancellor of Germany. He then took over as the Fuhrer of Germany. He was Austrian. Hitler thought Jews and Marxists were undermining the war effort in WWI. Hitler started the holocaust as his “final solution” to exterminate all peoples he deemed not worthy to live.
