Why did it happen?

Even since the surrender of Germany during World War I, Hitler felt devastated. Jewish agitators led many of the Soviets to set up in the German army and navy in late 1918. In Hitler's earlier political speeches, he refers to Jews as "November criminals", talking about the Bolshevik takeover in Russia. Adolf felt the front-line troops had been 'stabbed in the back' by traitors, social democrats, communists and Jews at home in Germany. In 1942, the "Final Solution" policy came into effect, which was designed as a form of punishment to efficiently and easily kill Jews, because the problem had apparently gotten out of hand. The Jews were collected by the Nazis and other various groups, and then taken concentration camps. Here they faced their future doom or enslavement under relentless conditions.
