The Holocaust was a mass murder of the Jews. Millions of Jews were killed. Many Jews were put into concentration camps and were tortured. The Nazis established camps in Germany, Poland and other occupied territories. They took Jews, Slavs and other "Sub-Humans" and "Undesirables" from all over Europe and sent them to these camps where they were murdered. Approximately six million Jews and four million other people, men, women, and children, were murdered either in these camps or right in their home towns.
