Who was involved?

Hitler’s hate for the Jews started the holocaust. He believed they were the reason that they lost World War 1. Hitler thought that the Germans were better than the Jews so he wanted to kill them all. The Nazis targeted Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Communists, twins, and the disabled.  Some of these people tried to hide from the Nazis, like Anne Frank and her family.  Some managed to get away but most were found. The people who were captured suffered sterilization, loss of homes, separation from family and friends, beatings, torture, starvation, and death.
