When Germany started a vicious propaganda campaign Germany blamed the Jews for there ills so he held a campaign against the Jews.   The holocaust started because after WWI, Germany was weak. Hitler used propaganda and brainwashing to get the German people to hate Jews since they had money and such. So Hitler leading, the Germans slowly took over in hopes of gaining power once again.
