It was started when Adolf Hitler became the chancellor of Germany and wanted to kill all of the Jews. Hitler persuaded the Germans that it was the Jews fault that there was a lot of poverty because they were rich and were taken the Germans money. Then Hitler started killing millions of Jews in concentration camps. By the end of the holocaust the estimate of Jews who were murdered was around 6,000,000 Jews were killed.
