There are many reasons why the Holocaust occurred; one of the biggest reasons is because the Nazi Germans fell into a great depression after WW1. They started conquering lands manly populated by the Jewish race. Under the Nazi policy they thought their race was superior and that the Jewish race were sub humans. People still ponder about the Holocaust, and the reasons it happened, but it just shocks me how a group of people could torture and hurt another group of people just because of their beliefs.
