Why did the Holocaust take place? The Nazi's believed that the Jews were inferior to the Nazi's. The Nazi's believed this because Adolf Hitler convinced them. Hitler considered the Jews, who gave minimal support during the first World War, to be something of an "internal enemy" and had to be erased, fast and with any means possible. Due to Hitlers hate of Jews, millions of them were massacred during the Holocaust.
