the "GREAT" Gatsby

The calm afternoon suddenly turned violent as I heard a commotion in Gatsby's backyard. The splashing of water drew my attention to the serene nature of the house. I caught a glimpse of Mr. Wilson ferociously flailing his grungy body parts at Gatsby, screaming repeatedly  "YOU KILLED HER!" Next thing I knew I was running across Gatsby's neatly trimmed lawn, my feet taking me faster than I knew I could go.I attempted to break up the bursting argument between them, when I realized my strength was not strong enough to detach them from each other. "I NEED HELP!" I hollered as loud as I could hoping for some of Gatsby staff to run out help.

Mr. Wilson unfortunately thinks that Gatsby killed his wife because he recognized the car that his wife came home in with bruises and that was when Tom broke her nose. He saw Gatsby in that car, and came to his own conclusion that it was Gatsby that killed Myrtle. Gatsby has no idea all this is going on in Mr. Wilson's head, and he just thinks that Mr. Wilson is trying to kill him.
