The Great Gatsby
Alexis Blackshear
the "GREAT" Gatsby
The calm afternoon suddenly turned violent as I heard a commotion in Gatsby's backyard. The splashing of water drew my attention to the serene nature of the house.
I caught a glimpse of Mr. Wilson ferociously flailing his grungy body parts at Gatsby, screaming repeatedly "YOU KILLED HER!"
Next thing I knew I was
running across Gatsby's neatly trimmed lawn, my feet taking me faster than I knew I could go.
I attempted to break up the bursting argument between them, when I realized my strength was not strong enough to detach them from each other. "I NEED HELP!" I hollered as loud as I could hoping for some of Gatsby staff to run out help.
