"How does fiction mirror society? Why?"

Fiction is based on what is not really real. Our society is based on a lavish lifestyle.

In our society, mainstream entertainers such as actors can reach success fairly quickly. In that time, everyone loves them and looks at them as sort of demi-gods. As quickly as it come, it disapears soon. Soon their faces are on tabloid covers with scandals and wild stories. They never get any privacy ever again and their lives become miserable. The End of the American Dream.
