Daisy is one of the many people at Gatsby's funeral mourning his death. She cannot believe that he is really gone. She walks over to Nick who tries to console her but he can only do so much. Daisy is completely devastated.
Being so upset, Daisy accidentally admits to Tom that she and Gatsby had been having an affair. Tom is furious and storms out of the funeral.
