Tom arrived at a hotel, paused and turned around. I hid thinking that he didn't know that i followed him. He kept walking and went into the hotel and I followed. He stood there in the lobby waiting for me and said if you want to talk to Daisy she's in room 102 you
better go up there before I do something that both of you will regret. I ran up to her room where she was holding her daughter and crying. I frantically told her to get up fast but she just sat there with tears rolling down and daughter in hand. She looked up at me and screamed "how dare you tell him the truth!" I looked at her in shock. She told me that Gatsby wanted to take the fall for what she had done. When I looked at her I just could not fathom what had come upon her she was actually willing to let someone else take the blame for what she had done. Yea she cried but what will that possibly do? Will that bring Gatsby back to life? I looked at her in disgust and walked away. She yelled for me to come back but I didn't turn around I just kept walking. Suddenly tears started streaming down my face, I felt like i had lost the only true friend i had and nobody seemed to care. He was gone from the world, and into the wind. When I got to the lobby Tom sat there talking to someone on the phone, it was Daisy. She was crying telling him the truth about everything that happened. How she loved Gatsby and how she killed Myrtle. I thought to myself, she must have realized that he is never going to come back to her. She told Tom that she was coming to east egg with me and to tell me to wait for her. I just kept walking heading towards the exit when she ran out the elevator clothes and all and called for me. I walked until I got outside where I waited for her. Daisy came outside and asked me if I could take her to his grave and I said yes. We took the train to east egg and for a minute I dozed off and heard Gatsby's voice calling me. He was wearing a pink shirt and he was smiling that old smile. He called out to me saying old sport take good care of my father and Daisy and please forgive her for what she has done. Then I heard Daisy's voice and it woke me up. She was telling me that we were in east egg. We took a taxi to my house and I looked out to see Gatsby's house. For the first time today it was empty only his father and a few butlers were there. When Daisy asked if anyone went to the funeral I told her that only a his father and a few butlers attended. She looked at me in amazement and said father, I thought he said that his parents were dead. I said I thought so to but apparently not. She ran over to his house and introduced herself to this father. At first I didn't understand why she did that but after wards I did. His father was the only way that she could be close to Gatsby. When they were finished talking she came back over and started making some food. I looked outside and the weather had cleared up a bit it was sunny and the rain had stopped for now.
